The Monkeywrench

I finally got round to making a small page about The Monkeywrench. There may be some inaccuracies in the page as I am not as knowledgeable about The Monkeywrench as I am of Mudhoney. (If you want a more comprehensive Monkeywrench site, I suggest the one at the unofficial-mudhoney.com).

The History:

The Monkeywrench was formed by Mark and Steve out of Mudhoney, and Tim Kerr, who has played in many bands including Poison 13. Tom Price was recruited in 1991 as a guitarist and Martin Bland flew over from Australia to join. "Clean as a Dick Broke Dog", the band's first release, was recorded later that year and released on Sub Pop. The band played a couple of shows in 1992 before a lengthy hiatus.
The band came back together in 1999 and played Garage Shock '99. After this, plans were made to record a new LP.
The new album is now here! It is entitled "Electric Children" and was recorded by the man Jack Endino. The album was released on Estrus Records and with any luck, should be in your local record store now.
