These are my interpretations of the meanings of some Mudhoney songs. These are in no way official.
I must stress that these are purely my opinions. If you disagree,
or if you think you have a better explanation for any song, let me know.
Tomorrow Hit Today 1. A thousand forms of mind Mood swings, insecurity, isolation. Possible drug references 2. I have to laugh This song appears to be about getting so pissed off with everything that you just have to laugh. 3. Oblivion Never-ending depression, boredom and disillusionment. 4. Try to be kind I think this song is about going insane. Also possibly about talking down to people who you consider different or crazy 5. Poisoned water I'm working on this one 6. Real Low Vibe Depression and boredom 7. This is the life Dissillusionment with life. 8. Night of the hunted Standing up to authority (possibly). Feelings of fear and maybe paranoia. 9. Move with the wind This is supposed to be Mudhoney's attempt at a love song, of sorts. Personally I'm not sure. 10. Ghost Cover of a song by Cheater Slicks. 11. I will fight no more forever This song is instrumental only. 12. Beneath the valley of the underdog Typically of this album, it appears to be another song about disillusionment, depression, etc. |
