Mudhoney Biography

It is somewhat surprising that, despite being one of the forefathers of the "grunge" music movement, Mudhoney never really reached the commercial success of many of their peers. It is also noteable that the band is still going after more than ten years and more remarkable still that their music has never really been altered since the early grunge days.

Mudhoney's 1988 single "Touch me, I'm sick" is described by many as the definitive grunge record with hugely distorted guitars and Mark Arm's screaming vocals.

Mudhoney have since gone on to produce 2 EPs and 5 full length albums including 1998's "Tomorrow Hit Today". "THT" is thought to be one of the band's best records and it has a more experimental style that previous LPs. It has been tipped as the album that could finally get Mudhoney a wider selection of fans.
